On
June 15, 2001, the first annual TRAFFIC PERSON OF THE YEAR
AWARDS ceremony was held. The event was hosted by ALL THINGS
TRAFFIC INC. at New Era Studios, in Manhattan's
fashionable NOHO district. The awards were given in recognition
of outstanding performances by traffic professionals. This was
the first-ever event of its kind.
The atmosphere was festive as industry
professionals gathered to honor this year's winners. Industry
heavyweight Tom Harrison gave the keynote speech, which captivated
the crowd and gave proper perspective to the evening. He spoke
on how important the Traffic Department is to the proper functioning
of an agency. Harrison urged traffic professionals to take pride
in their position, which is indispensible. And of course, the
band played on!
Congratulations to this year's winner
Andrew Jones of Cline Davis Mann and first runner-up Shalaina
Anthony of Bozell Worldwide.
ALL THINGS TRAFFIC INC. would like to sincerly
thank Tom Harrison for his participation as keynote speaker. With
the success of this year's awards ceremony, we look forward to
sharing an even more exciting time at the 2002 TRAFFIC
PERSON OF THE YEAR AWARDS.
To the judges and all who helped make
this year's event a success, thanks again.
